photos

asides from the fact that there are really wicked and amazing photos to check out every day at daily dose of imagery, i also find it really cool to see scenes from my daily life in a new light. for example, this building right accross the street from where i work, or this section of the street i live on.

i just found out there was a shooting today about 7 blocks from my house. pretty unsettling.

holidays

i think my favourite thing about christmas is that it's a really good excuse to just take the time to say hi to people that you don't really normally keep in contact with in every day life. it's really nice to get a card or an email from someone just wishing you well. i guess that is why they call it season's greetings.

this year for christmas cards, i went to the japanese paper place and got an assortment of papers in reds and greens, which i then folded into little stars and affixed blank cards made from recycled paper. i got package of them at grassroots on bloor.

howdy

i can't help but love how easy blogger is to use, and how well a blogger blog holds up to complete and total utter neglect. i can forget about it for a year, during which time i stop paying the hosting on which the domain on which the blog was hosted, the domain name expires, etc. and yet my wee blog is still here and still accessible for me should i feel like taking a shot at some semblance of regular blogging again.
