go hanshin tigers!

last night i went to a hanshin tigers baseball game. hanshin tigers fans are super devoted to their team, and they have this awesome tradition of letting go thousands of balloons at the 7th inning and really that was the best part of the whole game! it was really something to experience. so many people are so into it and get so dressed up in hanshin tigers fan wear, it was great.

3 - a - day

every time i go to my local grocery store, i always make a point to pass by the milk section, not because i always need to pick up milk, but because there is a little LCD screen that continuously plays a little video of three little milk product characters who sing a catchy '3 a day' tune, and it just makes me happy. it didn't occur to me until today to try and find that little gem of a song on the internet, and i was delighted to find that i could even download it for my continuous viewing and listening pleasure. 3aday! 3aday! ichi nichi san .... 3aday! yay for japan and making grocery shopping so fun.

do not enter

right so i am in japan now, kobe to be exact, and have been for a few weeks. i am slowly working on uploading the pictures from my trip onto flickr, but it's going slowly indeed. it is exciting to see all the new locations appearing on tripprmap though! yay!

being in japan is great. i have been here a few weeks and yet i still keep on discovering awesome things in my neighbourhood. today's little gem of a discovery was a 6 storey arts and crafts store that just made me want to explode with glee. there is soooo much amazingly cool stuff here i just want to buy it all.
