hello from the philippines

since my last post i have done a little globe trotting, set foot in the southern hemisphere for the first time, and taken a whole lot of pictures that i will post on flickr at some point when i get settled in japan.

while shopping yesterday i came accross some fantastic t-shirts by a brand called ang pambangsang. i only wish i had found such stylish t-shirts in all the other countries i have been to on this trip. normally location t-shirts are so cheesy and tacky, it was so refreshing to find some that i'd actually want to buy. although while the graphics on these shirts are perfect, the cut and fit of the lady t-shirts kind of sucked and that's the only thing that stopped me from buying them for all my friends. as always when i see a shirt with cool graphics but shitty cuts i bought men's size large and plan on reconstructing them (when is another question, we'll see how a sewing machine hunt goes in japan).
